Adding a codec feature

  1. Public surface in Codecs/, docs on every member (GenerateDocumentationFile is on).
  2. A test per failure mode, not only the happy path: every new throw must be a CodecException subtype.
  3. A docs page or a section in codecs/ in the same change.
  4. Bump LIBRARY_VERSION and add a CHANGELOG.md entry.

Constraints

  • AOT/trim-safe: no reflection, no dynamic; IsAotCompatible fails the build on IL2026/IL3050.
  • No host dependency yet: the codec only needs CloudNative.CloudEvents. The binding and base classes add Virtufin.Worker.Host when they land.
  • Publishing is gated: this package reuses the Virtufin.Worker.DevKit id, so it must not be published before the host rename in workmanager and the deletion of the old 0.x line.
